Like 90, as in 90 mph, referring to anything that is going fast, and this band is going places, fast.  Formed in early 2005, Like 90 is a Power-Pop foursome from Toronto.  Lead singer Brian Godfrey’s powerful searing vocals are reminiscent of anthem rock band singers from the 70’s like David Bowie and Robert Plant (Brian made the finals of Pop Stars in 2002 and has appeared on Much Music’s Much On Demand). With the music of 3 accomplished musicians behind him (Richard Miller on Guitar, Jeff Duncombe on Bass and Dave Keir on Drums), Like 90’s sound is a blend of Lenny Kravitz' soulful rock groove, Blink 182's punkish sarcasm, Dave Matthew's clever songwriting, and Sloan's catchy, singable hooks. The music is packed with catchy melodies and guitar riffs, memorable lyrics, and solid grooves.  The punk-edge driving through many of the songs makes people stand up and take notice.  Like 90 has just recorded a 3-song demo and is now building a passionate fan-base.  Expect this band to take-off really soon
