 Since 1985, Foodshare has "worked with communities to improve access to affordable nutritious food" through innovative programs at the grass roots level. FoodShare's Good Food Box distributes over 3,000 boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables at wholsale prices to over 200 volunteer drop-off sites accross the City, reaching 12,000 people. FoodShare is an advocate for "putting food first" in social, community, and individual priorities. |
