Jeff Getty Band Described as gritty and soulful, Jeff Getty combines heavy guitar based blues influences with his ability to contrive a killer hook. The result is material that occupies a unique plain between contemporary rock and more soulful roots-oriented explorations. His writing features singing guitar hooks, strong grooves, and choice harmonies embedded around Getty's unmistakable vocal style. Having returned from NYC where he performed solo acoustic shows, Getty has enlisted the talents of bassist Laurence Roscoe and drummer Mike Churchill to help fill out the sound. Live, the rhythm section has shown themselves to be a great fit with Getty's writing sensibilities. Expect great things from this band.
