Veteran
Toronto guitarist Tim Posgate returns to the
club with his ensemble JAZZSTORY, an
extremely original and versatile group. Posgate's
arrangements show the depth and focus of his
musicianship without going over the top to make the
point. Jazzstory will not disappoint those looking
for something a little left of
different. JAZZSTORY
is a quartet of Canadian musicians that combines
their unique voices on their respective instruments
to create a group sound that is looking back and
forwards to the history and future of jazz
music. The
line-up of JAZZSTORY is a who's who of young
Canadian jazz musicians. Collectively they have
performed and/or recorded with the following
artists: Jane Bunnett, Chelsea
Bridge, DIVA, Charles Gayle,
Handslang, D.D. Jackson, Steve
Lacy, Andy Milne, David Murray,
NOJO, Shuffle Demons, and Kenny
Wheeler among others. The
live performances of JAZZSTORY are both
entertaining and exciting as you watch four
musicians improvise, communicate and share their
