Jory NashSpinning tales of discovery and confession, Jory Nash takes song writing seriously. Not afraid to be labeled a folkie, as he plays the part well, this gifted guitarist and lyricist also draws on a number of varied influences ranging from blues to country, to R&B and pop eventually settling in somewhere near contemporary folk.
Regardless of influence his songs are draped in a wry sense of humour delivered with a focus that can best be described as personal, honest and direct. Nash comes across as a kind of modern day Nick Drake, entertaining with wit, iintelligence, and charm.
While a busy traveling schedule that has had him touring extensively across the U.S. the past couple of years, he is back home and showcasing material from his third cd entitled Lo-Fi Northern Blues.
