Local fixtures on the live music scene, Taxi Chain can not be described by any single adjective. Stylistically ranging from jigs and reels, to old-style American blues and funk, country, and roots. However you attempt to describe them, their live show is versatile, daring, and fun. Led by Grier Coppins on tenor guitar and bagpipes, with traces of soulful saxophone, edgy and rough electric guitar and mandolin, a driving rhythm section, and sing along choruses Taxi Chain's original and driving sound comes up aces.
